Acorn’s 130 Straight Stairlift is the latest evolution of its original ‘Superglide’ model. Continuously refined and improved over almost 30 years, it is the pinnacle of straight stairlift comfort and reliability. The Acorn 130 has all the essential features you need in a home stairlift, including a built-in diagnostic display. The seat, arms and footrest of the stairlift carriage all fold neatly away when not in use, letting others pass on the stairs.

An Acorn Straight 130 Stairlift is a sound investment that will pay daily dividends for years to come. Each new Acorn design is tested to a minimum of 25,000 return journeys up and down a typical staircase – that’s equivalent to more than eight years’ continuous use based on eight return journeys per day. An Acorn 130 is typically installed in around an hour, with no fuss, mess or disruption. The strong single rail is fixed securely to the stairs, not the wall, so you won’t need to redecorate.

The Acorn 130 Straight Stairlift is packed with all the essential safety, comfort and usability features you need, including twin remote controls supplied as standard. When not in use, the carriage can be neatly folded so that it doesn’t obstruct the stairs for other people using them. All Acorn Stairlifts are powered by rechargeable batteries, so if your household powers supply is interrupted, they will continue to operate. The maximum user weight of the standard Acorn 130 is 300lbs (19.9st), but a Heavy Duty version is available with an uprated capacity of 350lbs (25st).
